Front Footbox Aluminum - Please Help!

Does anyone have any tips (or even a video) on how to get the front footbox aluminum panel on and off?

I took mine off and for the life of me - even after at least 2 hrs of trying on both sides and talking with Support - I have been unable to figure out the passenger side. I did eventually get the drivers side on but it is still not easy and scratched the frame in multiple places.

It needs to be bent in multiple ways, bottom in first I think, then top. I think I even shaved mine in some spots, in the end you’ll have a ton of meat to rivet to.

What he said!! It has to be bent and forced. It does not fall in. Yes you might scratch the frame. Black Rustoleum paint is your friend. Plan ahead so you don't have to take it in and out to many times.

Wow... Just wow :D. Took me a while but I think I finally figured out the skill necessary for both sides. Going to have the wife video me next time just so I have it on record on how to accomplish the task. Will need to remove at least one more time before riveting them into place. Thanks for the guidance.

Some painters tape on the frame also helps to protect the powder coat.

The edges of these panels are sharp as heck. Take some fine emery cloth and round them over. Will help with install and may reduce scratching to a degree.
