I have a moroso pan on a gen 2 coyote. One of the plugs for connection of an oil cooler is seaping. I am assuming Teflon tape is ok to use on this to seal it up?
Any input from the more experienced folks on this board would be appreciated?

My go-to for metal-to-metal sealing for parts exposed to gas & oil is Permatex aviation gasket sealer. I've used it in many places and it hasn't failed me yet.

Teflon tape is for plumbing, not cars

Have used it to seal threads in everything from hydraulic systems to automobiles, in this case it is what moroso recommends but was worried about the heat cycles it may see. Any suggestions for products would be appreciated but the comment above is not true and not helpful.

Yes, you can use tape, just not ideal, teflon paste is preferred for automotive uses
permatex also has a fuel safe thread sealant/gasket dressing

Permatex thread sealant works great.
Tape is fine for pipe thread. The problem is that people put it on fittings that they shouldn't, like brake lines, compression fittings, o-ring fittings, etc.
