Today I spent the majority of the morning gathering parts in preparation for the delivery of a complete roadster kit. I have the most of the components for the complete driveline and enough parts to put together a mild 306.
I sold my drag car after being listed for several months. My wife gave me the ultimatum that either the car is sold by the end of July or we were going to start drag racing again… needless to say, it sold with a few days to spare.202711

Glad to hear you took the plunge. I plan to order a Daytona Coupe but wanted to get a lot of the parts out of the way. To date I have $41,000 in parts for a car I haven't ordered. My girl is getting on me as well. I do have a Gen 3 Coyote Aluminator SC with control pack, BC Forged Rims, Wilwood brakes with added electric parking brake, Corbeau seats, Tremec T56 Magnum transmission, Centerforce dual disk clutch, and lots more. She thinks I'm wasting money but I'm happy with what I'm doing, and it keeps me home. Have fun with the Roadster.

We drag raced for about 12 years then got into road racing for several years. I was lucky that I had a good portion of the needed parts for the roadster driveline as spares along with enough parts to build a couple of engines. My wife is happy that those parts are now going to good use. She has often times referred to me as a hoarder of parts and swears we have enough to build a couple of Mustangs.
Building a roadster is something I have always wanted to do. When our drag race car sold I had very mixed emotions then my wife said to me "you have been wanting to do this since I met you. Now, we have the space in the shop". So, I immediately started ordering parts, LOL!!!

You never see a Brink's truck in a funeral procession anyway, enjoy what you've worked for is how I feel.
