What is the best thing to use to get the duct tape residue off of the body? I know acetone and brake cleaner work great but I'm pretty sure they eat fiberglass.

Wax and grease remover or acetone.

Acetone has no affect on fiberglass, I would not use brake cleaner

Acetone, it'll dry way before it eats anything. That's what I used. Just don't soak the surface in acetone for a few hours.

Denatured alcohol or laquer thinner. MEK will eat the fiberglass.

Several solvents will work especially if the adhesive is scarce or minor.
For heavier adhesive more volatile solvents flash off before the adhesive is broken down. Wax and grease remover is like mineral spirits which works too. They take longer to evaporate and stay on the adhesive to break it down. With heavy adhesive I find the wax/grease remover will soften it enough that a plastic card or putty knife will scrape off adhesive and the remaining film dissolves easier. Solvent wet cloth removes the adhesive better than a paper towel.
