I saved all the parts from the 2020 donor IRS setup. The e brake cables won't work. I would be very grateful for insight (i.e. a part number 😀) for cables that will work.

Thanks a ton!

I used BC94840. Two of those from a 94 mustang. Worked fine for me.

I think the problem is that the rear brake parts available to me were.from 2020 Mustang so the caliper end of the connection has an "eye" on the end of the cable that.slips over a hook on the caliper. See the attached picture. Also, the sheath from the '94 part is about 1.5" to long and the cable won't reach both ends.
I have not modified an e brake cable before so I hesitate to just cut apart the existing one to make it work. Don't even know if.that is really possible with a new OEM cable.

If I don't cut apart the OEM cable to modify, I am considering one of those cut to length kits and magnifying a clevis to attach on the caliper end.

Any advice on modifying e brake cables or actually working with the style caliper I have is appreciated.

I have a 2015 rear end dropout. Those cables worked just fine with my brakes. I assume you’re saying the 2015 and 2020 brakes are different.

There should have been little L bracket type things in your kit. I’ll take a picture when I get home.
