Does any kind of full electrical schematics for the GTM exist?

My guess is every one is a bit different. The engine harness is typically from the corvette but could be aftermarket. The body harness is typically a Painless 21 circuit harness that the builder runs how they see fit.

I am more referring to the wiring and harnesses that come with the car.

Michael is correct. Every GTM is going to be different. If you're using the kit-provided Painless harness and doing a straight donor build, then the majority of the wiring is going to be done as outlined in the build manual. I don't know if anyone ever drew up an actual schematic of that or not? I can tell you that the hazard switch wiring is not correct in most of the GTM build manuals....and I do have written instructions to get it right. Other than that, most of it is fairly straight-forward if you follow the build manual.

Other than that, once you get away from using the donor engine with donor engine harness, all of the engine-related wiring goes out the window and you will have to figure it out for yourself, which is not that difficult to do....especially when you have the power of forums like this! Also, a lot of guys ended up going with a different wiring harness or went with something like the Infinity Box system....in which case the wiring guide in the build manual is pretty well useless.

BTW....when I first got into this, I wanted the same thing. I even contacted Painless to see if they could provide me with a schematic of the electrical circuits for their harness.....and they would not provide that to me.

Well the go cart is already wired, but I am going to redo everything. Right now I am just mapping out all the extra circuits I am adding in to the base build. So I was just wanting to see the basic wiring schematics so I had a starting point for adding things. no biggie. I'll just look it all up as I go.
