I was thinking of using these (4) to support the chassis before its a roller.
Anyone know if all 4 casters are the swivel type? I want to be able to push the kit side to side periodically. As well as back and aft.

I have one of these and all 4 wheels swivel. I am following namrups example and clamping jack stands to wheel dollies for the initial stage of the build to give me more height for my kit that is due to arrive this week.

I have used them to move my car (with motor and trans installed) under the wheels. They are definitely strong enough but not the perfect solution

yep used 4 of them when i built my coupe. but only without the engine and trans. Was worried they might not hold up to the extra weight.

I've been shifting the bare frame around my garage and beyond on two wheel dollies without issue.

I used one of them to hold my engine and transmission with no problem. 460 ford, aluminum heads
and TKO transmission. moved very easy.

I have some of those and use them for light duty work. Probably would be OK for the chassis only. But not with the driveline installed. And I sure wouldn't get under it with those. For about $100 more, you can invest in some real wheel dollies that you can trust and will work much better. I have a set of four and use them a lot.

Can't remember where I got them now, but they make a triangular piece of metal (about 10 inches per side) with a steel roller ball at each corner. I originally bought them to put under a couple of snowmobiles to jockey around to different areas of my shop , depending on where in the shop I was working at the time. Later, I had placed one under each corner of a fully built TR6 (about the same weight as a Cobra). Worked like a charm.
