KONI Coilovers Front or rear

I have FFR 35 truck,

The ones on the back, 82-2611 seem to be way to long, the spring doesn’t come close to the retainer on top.

The back measure 17 1/2"

Do I have them wrong?

This is what my manual said about the shock length. But my shocks are 15.15 and 14.85 inches in length. So, not sure. yours are definitely longer than mine. No pun intended
