So I have started the wiring and want to remove the Hot Rod only pigtail from the harness. The smart move is to probably leave it alone, but I prefer to clean up the wiring and create as much space in the pedal box area as possible. I read somewhere on the forum that some of these wires may need to be connected together that share a pin in the connector, but my pigtail has all wires separate with none joined in the connector in any way. Can I simply clip and terminate every wire in the pigtail or do some of them need to be joined if I'm removing the connector?

Thanks in advance.

They can all be clipped off. No connections between wires required. Some are part of active circuits, so make sure the ends are securely capped. One way is to bend the last 1/4" or so over and then cap with shrink sleeve. I almost exclusively use the kind of shrink sleeve that has adhesive inside. Called dual wall.

I like a simple solution. Will do. With all the tasks that seem simple at first but aren't, it's nice to have one that actually is! Thanks!

And a quick 'thank you' for your build thread and continual contributions. I've learned so much from your experience and used several of your methods on my own build.
