Hood Panels After Scoop Cutout

I just did the cutout for my hood scoop and there is a gap all the way around the cutout between the two fiberglass panels for the hood. What product should I use to fill this gap and join the two panels?

Fill the gap about 3/4” in with 3M HSRF. Leave them relaxed and DO NOT pull them together.
