Crack in dash cowel

Hi all! I've had the body on and off a few times during my build process and I just noticed the crack in the corner of the cowl. It's big enough to catch my fingernail. The body is always on the buck or the car. Should I be concerned, or am I overthnking? Thanks.

Most likely it's just gelcoat. These bodies are way stronger than most think. Moving it wouldn't cause a crack in that area anyway.

Thin glass has been becoming a problem in that area over the past couple of years; sometimes there is little more than just gelcoat there. The crack that you see might only be gelcoat as Rich said or it could be all the way through. It'll have to be evaluated and addressed when the body & paint is being done.
