My wife and I did a 10-day trip to Alaska that was absolutely fantastic. We had about as perfect weather as anyone could hope for.

Here is a young humpback whale playing near Ketchikan:

Nice picts Dave, I'm sure they don't do justice to the real life experience.

Anyone that I've known that has come back from an Alaskan trip says it was the best trip they've ever taken in their entire life. Pics look great Dave! Definitely on the bucket list.

Higgy,

Yes, we did a cruise tour with Princess. We did three days in Fairbanks and Denali National Park and then a seven-day southbound cruise from Whittier to Vancouver that Princess calls the Voyage of the Glaciers. We sailed out of Whitter to Hubbard glacier, then to Glacier Bay where we saw several glaciers. The first port was Skagway, then Juneau, and finally Ketchikan. The last day we sailed through the Inside Passage winding things up in Vancouver, BC.

Just starting to go through the nearly 1500 pictures I took on this trip.

Birth of an ice burg at Hubbard glacier.

We just finished a northbound from Vancouver to Fairbanks on Holland America and the Alaska Railroad.
