Is there any trick to removing the inner tie rod ends to install the rack extenders? Mine don't have locking roll pins installed but they won't budge with reasonable pressure. Do I have to worry about breaking anything internal in the rack if I crank on them with long wrench?

I used a big wrench and a long cheater bar with the rack in a vise wrapped in a towel and let fulcrum do the work. It is a tight fine thread but will come off. Nick C

The rack inards move left to right and don't rotate so you won't turn anything but the big nut. Nick

Thanks Nick. That did it, just needed a bigger wrench. (And the knowledge it wouldn't jack anything up):)
