I pulled out the upper shaft to see why it has play (I'm missing and in need of the Belleville washers)

I don't have the Russ Thompson T/S instructions, is this hub mounted correctly? as in the correct orientation?
Mine is at the 3:00 or passenger side orientation?
Thanks!

I think that's 180° off. If you look at the signal switch arm, the latch mechanism is on the side that will get tripped by the 'tangs' on the hub. Plus, if I remember right, the hub is machined for a "seamless" fit where it meets. I could be mistaken, it's been awhile since having mine off.

The Factory Five steering wheel can only clock one way. Your hub is exactly the way Russ machined them.

In this Youtube video at the :54 second mark you can see his "cancelling lugs" are at the 12:00 position where mine are at the 3:00 or passenger side orientation, so "clocking" in at least 6 positions seems possible?

I will say it once again. The "Factory Five" steering wheel will only orient one way. The steering wheel in your video is NOT a Factory Five steering wheel.
The top 2 most bolts on the Factory Five (Motolita) steering wheel are further apart than the other 4. You can go to the 5 min mark in this video and see it.
