I have about 100 miles on my recently completed Gen 3 Coupe. I installed a Gen 3 Coyote power module setup (T-56 with Ford clutch M-7560-T46) and Tilton 6000 series hydraulic TOB. As you can hear in the accompanying video there is loud "whining" noise coming from either the clutch or the TOB. This noise appears to be related to engine RPM. It doesn't seem to matter if the clutch is engaged, disengaged or if the car is in gear. Otherwise the transmission shifts perfectly. I suspect it is the bearing race but before I pull the transmission I was wondering if anyone has any other thoughts? There is nothing rubbing on the blue pressure plate housing.
Thanks

Haven't experienced any issues with my Tilton HRB now 7000+ miles. So can't offer any advice based on experience. It does sound like something is rubbing as opposed to bearing noise. But that's just a wild guess. I'd suggest asking Tilton and have them listen to it. I suspect they know what a failure sounds like.

Do you have an aluminum bell housing? If so there was some minor interference with the flywheel. Might want to look at that. If it is that, not sure I would bother fixing it. The teeth will wear the aluminum pretty quick.

That noise sounds like dry steel to me. Inside the TOB there is a spinning part and non spinning parts. To see if the noise is coming from the TOB use a stethoscope or a long screw driver between the TOB housing and your ear while the engine is idling. The noise will come through the screw driver.
