So I put the body on today for the first time. No bulb seal or foam anywhere on the vehicle. Added 3/4" spacer on the square bar above the hood hinge bracket. Below are some pics and my list of things I think I need to adjust.
She actually looks more like a car now!
Any advice is appreciated.

I think I need to adjust the front outriggers toward the PS by about 1/2" or so. I believe this will help center the hood hole opening so I have the same overhang at the hood hinge brackets.

PS Dash rolled edge (leave as is, see how body moves with outrigger adjustments)

Looking good Bryan! You'll be in paint in no time! Question. How much does the body overhang on the dash?

You really need to have the bulb seal on. Don't try to center the hood opening on the tubes around the engine bay---the hood opening is in the center of the body. You center the nose by measuring from the shock tower to the outer edge of the wheel opening.

Thanks Jeff. I’ll put the bulb seal on when I take off the body next. And your guidance on the hood opening is appreciated.

The body pretty much touches all across the DS of the dash and there is about a 1/8”-1/4” gap on the PS.

I would make the overhang on the dash the same all the way across. Pick the shortest lip and match it.

I'd recommend covering the bulb seal w/ some thick plastic while you're still adjusting the body position. The undersurface is rough enough to tear up the seal (and a leather dash) as you're sliding it around. I loosely taped some strips of thick plastic and pulled them out once I was happy w/ the body position.

On the dash need to have 1/2 in gap between the 3/4 tube and body lip

Another option to protect the bulb seal is thick drafting paper. It’s quite strong, yet pliable, and slides out easily when it’s time to pull it out.

Second round of body fitment photos. Feedback is appreciated!

Added bulb seal all around. Fit is similar. Body sits about 1/4"-1/2" in front of the door striker plates, trimmed dash roll is now spaced from the dash.

The body also seems centered... I "adjusted" the front outriggers a bit toward the PS, and now I get about 17-1/4" inches measured from the top of the front shock pillar (same place on both sides)

Trunk bulb seal is pretty tightly squeezed and everything else seems to be aligned.
