Have a 1965 roadster Mark III. Never had a car this low. Are there any really good ramps for these ?

True these are low and somewhat limited for most ramps. I'm also not a huge fan of driving onto ramps. I have relatively low ramps (flatstoppers from Race Ramps) for winter storage and don't even like to drive onto those. What are you planning to use them for? If you're trying to get the car higher for maintenance, working on it, changing, oil, etc. I'd recommend rethinking the ramp idea and consider a floor jack and jack stands. A long reach low profile floor jack like this one from HF https://www.harborfreight.com/3-ton-long-reach-low-profile-professional-floor-jack-with-rapid-pump-black-64781.html will be your best friend. Low enough to get under the car and long enough to reach the diff to lift the back. I've had one for a number of years and it's my go-to.

I have done a lot of work with my Quickjack 5000. It raises the car to a good working height. My garage has a lower ceiling. They go on sale a lot from different box stores(Lowe’s, Homedepot, Costco…..). I use it on all my other cars also in the garage.(Ridgeline, Accord, and 4Runner)

Paul's advice is good as that is essentially what I did with my MK4. I used the Harbor Freight 2 ton lightweight aluminum jack with great success. My only caution is make sure it is centered on the 4" tubes when lifting as you can have an accident if not centered. My MK4 only had 4 1/2" of ride height at the front cross member. I found that I had to roll onto a 2x6 first, then I raised the car with the jack.

I second the quickjack 5000 I absolutely love mine. Made working in a tight pace much easier. Plus I can hang them on the wall when not in use.

Another option to consider is a scissor lift, which is what i bought for my coupe for extra height. It was the only option that worked for me due to limited height and heated floor in my garage. The scissor lift I have is only 7cm from the ground (~2") and is low enough to be used for the coupe as is, but i also bought ramp extensions for even lower cars. Much more convenient than using jack stands (at least for me), which is what I initially used. Since it is free standing, you can easily sell it later on if it is no longer needed.
