Hey all!
FFR supplied this monster heater control valve.
I am running SBC with AC.
Any creative location to put that monster?
Not sure about the new kits, but the Vintage Air heater that came with my kit had an electronic control valve that you could get from them. Only thing on the dash is a knob that controls the heater.

I got the Vintage Air kit that FFR supplied with my kit, it’s pretty small.
It’s got 4 knobs on the dash for heat and AC.
Post a pic of what you’ve got.

Not the greatest but I put mine down low on the frame. The lower side panel will hide it yet it will still be accessible for repairs if needed.

Not concerned with the knob setup. It’s the 4 port valve itself!
Big bracket and all!200407200408

The valve itself is what I’m talking about. The knobs in the cockpit are fine

It’s the big bracket and the 4 port valve itself.
Trying to keep under the hood kinda neat

You don't necessarily need a 4-port bypass style heater control valve unless you have some specific need like a DOHC 4.6 requires. You could use a smaller more compact 2-port valve:

I stuck mine up on the firewall above and behind the motor. Seemed like a logical spot to run the lines. On the roadster though.

Figured I’d use what came with it. Thought of a smaller one, but I managed to make it work

Thought of putting it there. Not really any room behind the motor on the 33

FWIW, the Vintage Air Hot Rod heater I put in my 33 came with a two port valve. I put it under the dash attached directly to the heater core inlet.
