What are people doing these days for FIA certified safety harnesses in a Cobra for HPDE?

I am thinking these:

Buy want to #1 be safe and #2 do this right the 3rd time. :-).

I've got an almost identical harness identified for when my belts age out. The 7000 series adjust the shoulder straps by pulling down (as opposed to the 7100 series you identify which adjust by pulling up). I chose the 7000 series to match the Simpson harness provided with the kit. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/gfr-7000bk

Those pass tech for HPDE?

Got some super strict tech here. I agree with them. We all want to be safe. So this isn’t just a cruising the streets Cobra. Doing actual race track things :-)

I recommend 2" or HANS-compatible shoulder straps (assuming the width conforms to the HPDE requirements). The reduced width is much more comfortable.

Check out Crow Safety, I just upgraded to their belts, very good quality and the owner there used to he a editor for Kit Car Magazine so she told me she is very familiar with Kit Cobras and made great recommendations.

I'd contact whatever organization runs your HPDE events. They will have a list of approved belts. While replies here can be helpful, they don't really matter unless the poster is running the same events.
