This a 4-day compilation of events that took place May 16-19 2024 in and around Ely Nevada during the Nevada Open Road Challenge.

The car is a Factory Five Gen III Type 65 serial #17, assembled by me and California titled in 2017.
The car has over 21,000 miles on it.

289ci was doing this with carburetors, point ignitions and four speeds back in the day. The BP and Trans Am classes were full of 5.0 ltr engines. SBFs did Indy and Lemans as well. Maybe they were "bigger horses" back them.

Part of it is that the event is between 4000 and 5500 feet above sea level.

I have experienced that at Castle Rock and the "Springs".
Good application for ram air. My race bike added 7hp to 125hp at 150MPH. Screen for feathers.
