In tank fuel pump needed

Need in tank fuel pump for carbureted motor. Need pump that mounts in FFR roadster fuel tank and does require a return line.
Blueprint engine came with external pump which is very noisy

FFR tank is for a Fox body Mustang. You’ll need a new pump hanger and run a return line if you haven’t installed one yet. Also get a fuel regulator to drop your pressure from the pump. Or push the easy button and call Mike forte

Make sure the replacement pump has the return line tube going all the way down to at least the same level as the intake tube, which is near the bottom of the tank.

For an in-tank fuel pump setup with a carburetor, many of us have used the Pro-M hanger which has 3/8” (6AN) feed and return fittings. Follow the directions and it fits in the FFR tank. Pro-M has a great video showing how it works.

Short summary on theory-the inline pump pressure is relatively high, the regulator is picked or adjusted for low pressure (6-8psi for carburetor), the excess follows the bypass/return path to the tank. The return path should be the same size as the feed, otherwise the pressure backs up to the regulator and influences the pressure to the carb.

If you use the Pro-M hanger, you can use one of their pumps or a Walbro pump with a bottom center input. I used a Summit (private label Walbro) SUM-250103. I used a HLY 12-887 (4.5-9 psi) regulator on the firewall.

I have been using this in tank returnless setup since 2018 now. Keeps a steady 5 psi.
