I’m planning to coat the underside of the body as many others have done. A quick search of the forum leads me to a few favored products, with U-POL Raptor being a favorite. I also understand around 3 quarts should be sufficient to cover the underbody as well as the wheel-well pieces of aluminum. I’ve got a large enough air compressor (worked for the interior cockpit lizardskin).
I’m asking how close I should coat the body to the edges? I understand I want to leave some room 1”-2” from the edge of the outside edge of the wheel wells so I don’t make Jeff’s job too difficult. Also to spend a good amount of time taping off areas I don’t want coated. Any other tips or recommendations on products?
Thanks,
