I’m planning to coat the underside of the body as many others have done. A quick search of the forum leads me to a few favored products, with U-POL Raptor being a favorite. I also understand around 3 quarts should be sufficient to cover the underbody as well as the wheel-well pieces of aluminum. I’ve got a large enough air compressor (worked for the interior cockpit lizardskin).
I’m asking how close I should coat the body to the edges? I understand I want to leave some room 1”-2” from the edge of the outside edge of the wheel wells so I don’t make Jeff’s job too difficult. Also to spend a good amount of time taping off areas I don’t want coated. Any other tips or recommendations on products?
Thanks,
-Junbug (Bryan)

I purchased a kit of four quarts/liters and sprayed three.
I placed Kill Mat in the upper areas to catch rocks and covered it all up with the Raptor and used the last container to cover it.
The Raptor stuff is really good; however, make sure you have things masked off really well or at least have a son to clean up your mess.
