Start Mk IV build July '24: any Oregon owner/builders???

My kit completion date is 6/29/24, so roughly mid-July I'll start.
I'll probably order the eng/trans this week: BP 347/Tremec 5-spd.
I have a lot of experience with fabrication and some machining.
I come from an engineering and manufacturing background -- just retired!

Hi Steve, I live in the burbs out side Portland west side. Received my kit about 11 months ago. If you are interested in a road trip next month (I am pretty booked for the next couple weeks) but In june should be able to meet at my place and you can see where I am at in my build. Just Started the engine this weekend and plan to get it ready to go-cart over the next few weeks. Send me a message.

Welcome to the madness!. Allyn up here in Gaston. About 25 miles southwest of Portland and 10 miles from Lance (above). Check out F500guy (Lance) and my (Rebostar) build threads. I just finished breaking in the 427 Windsor based engine I built. Currently doing the rear wiring before installing the aft aluminum panels.
I also just retired (45 years in aviation maintenance). I'm working on the Cobra most days. If you drive up to check out Lance's build stop by Gaston if you have time.
