Howdy folks,
Now that I have put a few hundred miles on my coupe I've really come to appreciate the value of sun visors!

What have others done?

As always, thanks for your input!
Tim

I used 12" wide roll bar sun visors with tinted shields from Wild Horses Inc. (wildhorses4x4.com) It included the mounting clamps. I love them. Not cheap but looks gread and works well.

These are the ones Scott mentioned. I've used them on two builds. For the Coupe, I trimmed them down slightly. Because of the roll cage, they need to fold forward. Which is not the usual for visors. But works well.

I have to admit that my coupe is almost a twin sister to Pauls (Edwardb's) I used his as a model build using a lot of his ideas and upgraded parts. Thanks Paul!!

Paul's builds are a template for many builders. My coupe is on order and I will likely use his build as a target with the exception of the drivetrain. I have done mod motors before on two builds, time to go back to the roots and do a SBF with a 10R80 behind it.

x3, or 4, or..... probably 10. I used the same setup, although I think the 4x4 site is just reselling these from Axia alloys:

I used their rear view mirror as well.

I think there should be a subset of Daytona's called "rev PB" for Paul.... that, or we all owe him like $1K each for how much time and effort he saved us all! Someday I hope to meet him, and buy him a beer. Maybe get HIM to sign my car!

Thanks for the shout-outs guys. Not necessary but appreciated. I started with nearly zero knowledge in Oct 2009 when I bought a partially built Mk3 Roadster. Has been a fun journey since then with multiple builds and no question the Gen 3 Coupe is my favorite by far. Just did a cruise in it yesterday and reminded myself of that. Again. Truth is many of the ideas I put in my builds are from scouring the forum and either using or expanding on other ideas. That plus I like to take pictures and have never been short for words. I was shocked the other day to see the Coupe build thread has over 1 million views. Crazy. But glad to hear it keeps giving. Even though it's been done for over four years and some things may be getting dated. I enjoy following new builds so keep them coming. I'm not opposed to the $1K each idea though. An airplane build budget goes to another level from these.
