I ordered the Moser rear end. but the drive shaft adapter in the kit will not fit on the input shaft of the rear end. The hole in the center of the adapter is way to small to get over the pinion nut. Am I supposed to bold the drive shaft directly to the Moser without the adapter? I lose about 3/4 of an inch of yoke engagement if I do. Actually havent even checked to see if the bold holes line up. Ideas?

the drive shaft adapter is only for IRS rears. You must have been sent in in error.

OK I bolted up the driveshaft to the Moser without the adapter.

And as I thought, the Yoke is sticking out of the transmission by 2 inches. Looks a little far out to me. But What do you all think?

Yes, the weight is on the axels, so this is at ride height.

OK Dan at FFR tech says the DS adapter is not needed and the 2 inches at the transmission are within spec.
Thanks everyone
