Hood with deluxe grill

Anybody using the kit hood with the deluxe grill? fitment issues?

I believe you're not correct. The blue truck has the standard grill, like the '33 hot rod. According to the '35 truck order form, the deluxe grill does not support the hood/side covers. ref below

You are correct....but I was referring to the blue 33 Hotrod that FFR has on their website. Not their blue 35 Hotrod truck.

I really like the hood extending to the edge of the grill. I couldn't find it on the order form when I ordered my truck.

I would gladly sell off my "Truck" Hot Rod Grill and hood to get an actual 33 Hot Rod unit. I have thought about kit bashing the Hot Rod truck hood, but I would much rather just buy one.

The Speedstar hood and side panels are unique to the Speedstar. The front edge mates to the grill just like the 33 Hot Rod. But the rear of the hood extends all the way to the windshield and follows the Speedstars unique curved windshield. The side panels extend to the leading edge of the doors

So when the 35 truck gets ordered with the 33 grill and hood, it does not extend to the front edge of the grill? It is really a 35 Truck 'Hot Rod' grill, not the 33 Hot rod grill as named. I was a bit disappointed when I ordered the 33 grill and hood, but when I received the kit, the hood didn't go all the way to grill.

The deluxe grill is vertical, not laid back. Also more oval and not pointed at the bottom.

Finally got it from the horse's mouth. Seems I ordered the wrong grill.

I got the deluxe grill, but I am going to install a 32 Ford steel grill from Speedway. They aren't that expensive.
