Haggerty Drivers Club or other suggestion?

I am giving some thought to joining the Hagerty Driver Club, SOLELY for the towing benefit. I was looking for the opinions and experiences of others, or even alternative options.

I use AAA for the whole family for roadside\towing. Cheap and likely the same towing companies as Hagerty would use.

I sold a project BMW to a guy who had Hagerty, he called them to have it towed from my house to his.

They took almost 2 hours to show up, but they towed the car. The tow truck was from a yard about 25 miles away.

I have premium AAA, they downgraded the RV towing but It still provides some LONG tows for regular cars.

AAA premium for me, mine gives 100 miles towing distance.

Well, first.....I suppose I should apologize for not posting this in the proper forum. I'm not sure "Roadsters" is the best place.....but I didn't realize it until AFTER I posted it. I then looked for a way to delete the post but couldn't find one. (For the record, CAN threads be deleted?)

That being said, I have been doing some research and reading reviews.....seems most people are happier with AAA than with Hagerty. Also (and I know this from personal experience) in certain states AAA will cover EVERY VEHICLE and that means MOTORCYCLES. That was the policy on a "Connecticut issued" membership and it even covered me when I moved to another state as it was "originally issued" in Connecticut. Of course, I eventually let the membership lapse so I need to find out if motorcycles are covered with a South Carolina issued policy. And as I remember, there were different "levels" of membership and it was worth it to get the "upgraded" level for better towing benefits.
