GM Alternator

Anyone use this type ? Has two plugs and I am using the Ron Francis harness and trying to figure haw to tie the two together

What alternator are you using? GM has made several over the years. All have slightly different connections.

The Ron Francis harness as you know has two wires for the alternator; however, if you peel the plastic loom back you'll see that it is spliced to have two wires. What you do to go to a single plug GM style alternator cut the splice off and go with the single wire. It is literally that simple.

How do I know, well like many on this forum I am running a GM single wire style alternator.

I have two connections on this alternator though

It depends on the exact type of alternator. My alternator came from CFV Racing, and despite having a battery post and a 2 wire plug, it's a true 1 wire alternator that only requires the battery post wire.
