Have most of my panel wired and ready, but did not install the wiper motor toggle switch along with the others. I ASSUMED (wrongly) that it would be the same style and size of the others. My main problem is the length of the neck that goes through the panel. The other toggle switches have a .400" long neck. The wiper toggle in the kit was 1/2 that size at .200". (see pic).

Since I already decided to use labels for the other toggle switches, and they are installed to create the "pillow look" with the foam backed panel material, there is not enough threads to get the wiper toggle installed with the label.

Does anyone know of a source for a paddle style toggle that will work? I BARELY understand the whole SPST VS DPDT termanology, so not even sure what style of toggle to look for. Any help would be appreciated.

From what I have researched it is very difficult to find a switch that will work properly with the park function on the wiper motors. I ended up going with the following rotary switch and relay from period correct:
https://prdcrrct.com/product/wiper-switch-rotary/
https://prdcrrct.com/product/relay-kit/
And Paul from Period Correct was super helpful with the wiring instructions.

Not sure what wiper you have, but this is what i used. This is the switch I used for my lucas wiper motor:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/276106131602?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=6ATH_t0-REy&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=XezPDBL0TkC&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

And this is the wiring, park works.

Hello. Can you let me know where you sourced those labeled plates for identifying each switch?

Apparently in New Jersey it is a requirement to have identification for certain ones so I like that approach.

I got my switch labels from carolina laser. You design them yourself.

On your switch that the threaded portion is too long, just find a thin nut. Adjust to the length you need to protrude out the dash and when lock it down with the outside nut.

It's TOO short.
