View Full Version : Have the steel FFR side pipes improved?
I know they've had problems in the past, but wondering if FFR has made any quality improvements, sound notwithstanding?

Jeff, I've read about early failure, rattling etc. But to be honest maybe it's like most things on the internet... you only hear about the bad, not the good.

That's good to hear. Mine are a year old, and I'm planning to use them, but I wouldn't invest much in coating them if it was inevitable they'd fall apart.

Mine rattled straight out of the box, but I wear ear plugs all the time and doesn’t bother me enough. Once it does, I’ll put in a self tapping screw to silence the rattle.

Mine are at least 16 years old. They have gotten MUCH louder but no rattles or other issues.
