I look forward to following along with your videos. My coupe completion date is April 28th, but it looks like you'll be moving at light speed compared to me

Great timing! I am now planning my coupe build for late this year. I too will fit 335s to the rear of the car. I saw in your video that you are going with 275s up front. I have not seen anyone go wider up front and you did not, so it appears that 275s are the limit of what fits or can be made to fit. I see a Coyote sitting there or possibly a Voodoo or 5.2L XS. To say the least, I am subscribed to your thread.

What product did you use for the gold in the engine bay? Very nice job on your build so far, its impressive to see how fast these can be built. Mine will take much much longer haha.

Looks awesome Erik! That touch of gold just really sets it off as radical! And I’m still amazed at your speed on building these beautiful machines. So, keep making the vids they’re very enjoyable to watch. I think you better start a merch store!

So close!
Did full electrical ring out - everything checks out - only need gas and 2 grounds connected and it should make some noise!

Liked and subscribed but can't comment on the video in YouTube. Obviously we can comment here but for anyone not on the forum, they can't. I also saw some goalie equipment in the background of one of your videos, when do you find time for that?!

Normal week - I work on the car 6-7am; 5-7pm , no work on hockey nights, Sat, Sun 14hrs (each day) on the car. Every other Friday 6hrs on it.

Could you show how many holes you drilled for the wiring pass through from interior to engine side of firewall panel? I'm hoping all my wiring will fit through 4 holes. Thanks!

I put 3 holes in the tranny tunnel closest to the fire wall and put one small hole above the passenger foot box (this is the only hole I put directly into the fire wall - if you look in the week 4 video towards the end there is a quick shot of the pass-through.

Well no videos on it yet but here is a sneak peak - been a minute while my painter has done his thing... not bad for 90 days... he hasn't been working on it steady - but once it's back in my hands should wrap up nicely. Still have to cut an buff yet.

Absolutely unreal the warp-speed , yet quality, this thing has come together!
Those ghost stripes are awesome
Okay, so how did you get the rear hatch tinted so nicely? I've read over and over how difficult it is to tint

I noticed that you put the dash over top of the fiberglass instead of underneath like most have done. Can you explain your thinking on that?
Erik W. Treves
09-03-2024, 11:39 PM
I did it like that on my own car as I didn't want to look at painted fiberglass inside the glass - the way it is now the dash goes all the way to the window - like a normal car.
kurtbob
09-04-2024, 07:37 PM
That makes sense! My dash is under the fiberglass currently, but I'm willing to try it your way to see if I like it better.
