I had a personnel message asking for help with picture posting, so thought I would post some pictures as I could not do it in the personnel message.

I do not use my phone, I mostly use a digital camera and it is actually set at a pretty high resolution-3M
1) i take my pictures and save them to my computer hard drive
2) When I do my post I click on the "add Picture" tool
197300
3) Select "from computer"
197301
4) Select "Browse" and locate your picture on your computer and select it. The file should show up in the Files selected box
197302
5)Then select "Upload File". This some times takes time, so I try not to do more than 3 at a time
197303
6) This is how it should look in your post while writing it. If you select "Preview Post" bottom right hand screen corner-you can preview and see how your picture will turn out in the post.

Hope this helps, if this does not solve your issue, may need to get help.

And why the heck can't we share pics thru PM? Such a pain.

…or you can use the gallery and embed your pics:

Actually you can. I've been using the forum's image gallery for my last few builds. Happy with how it works once you get the hang of it. External hosting sites have been troublesome. At least for me. Witness Photobucket. Anyway, you can enter a link (aka URL) in your PM or the actual IMG code. I do it all the time. If a link, the receiver has to click the link to see the photo. The IMG code shows the picture when the PM is opened. I cut and paste the appropriate links from the forum image gallery. They're provided at the bottom RH corner when you open the picture in the gallery.

Yep - Using the gallery lets you post pics that are larger and you can link those pics in PMs the same way you do in posts in the forum threads. Here is a screen capture of a PM conversation I had with another member where I posted a picture into the PM:
