Remote oil filter adaptor kit

Stabbed the engine today!!! Yahoo! But, not sure about the need for a remote oil filter adaptor kit.

I have a 347 Stroker from Blueprint and FFR SS headers. In instructions, it says I will need remote filter adaptor IF I am using a 302 block with "shorty" headers. Are the FFR headers considered "shortys"? I don't have a remote filter kit in my packing list (complete kit) and would assume it would be standard since FFR knew what motor I was choosing when I ordered.

So, do I need the adaptor? If yes, it something I have to purchase separately from the complete kit?

Standard oil filter location will work just fine.

You have the "long tube" or "4 into 4" headers from FFR which as Frank said do not require using a filter relocator.
