Hey all. This may apply to those who did the CNC or other triple reservoirs as well, but I am having a stupid little problem, and I wonder if anyone else has found an easy solution. I have the Forte/Wilwood triple brake/clutch fluid reservoirs. They came with outlet fittings that are -3AN pointing straight down. How is anyone transitioning to the 1/4" tubing that came with the Wilwood Master Cylinders? It seems the perfect fitting would be the 9/16"-18 o-ring on one side, and a 90 degree elbow to a 1/4" barb on the other. I can not find such a fitting. I found a 90 degree elbow with -3AN female on both sides at JEGS, but can't find a -3AN to 1/4" barb adapter. Anyone got any advice?

CNC came with straight barbed fittings off the reservoir and has been fine. Just another option.

Thanks Fman. I think I can probably find the straight adapter for the barb. Thanks for the picture!

I came across the same issue and found a thread somewhere on it.

The reservoirs are -6 ORB fittings into the reservoir. I replaced those with -6 ORB to -4AN male fittings. Then used a 90 degree -4 female to -4 male barb that connects to the Wilwood MC hoses. Racetronix had both. Works great.

Perfect. That's exactly what I was trying to do. Thank you for the links. Out of curiosity, did you ever reach out to Wilwood to see if they have a single fitting that solves this? They have a zillion fittings on their website, but the way they're organized makes it impossible to really search for it. I was going to call them, but Its hard for me to make phone calls during business hours.

On my CNC triple reservoirs I used these fittings (https://www.summitracing.com/parts/GAR-7-91HB-4X2) from Summit.

I did not reach out about this specific issue to Wilwood. I’ll agree though that they have a lot of fittings, but ORB fittings (from what I’ve seen) tend to be less common maybe? I had another issue with the Wilwood MC - I converted from hard brake lines to Fragola braided, which required an adjustment to the fittings coming out of the master cylinder. Had to use Summit for those as Wilwood didn’t have any options.

Thanks for that. That’s exactly what I’d like to find but the wilwood ones have a different size outlet and I can’t find that fitting. Looks like 2 fittings will be needed.

And I love your bracket johnk. Did you fabricate it or find it?

Thanks. I made the bracket myself. Details are in my build thread here (https://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?31167-Greek-Guys-Garage-Roadster-Build-9509-(Nice-shoutout-on-Insta-about-my-build)&p=409151&viewfull=1#post409151).

Just to clarify, are you looking for how to connect the master cylinders to braided brake lines? Or the master cylinder to the reservoir? I’ve had to solve both but I was only referring to the reservoir piece above.

You answered the question I was asking! Just trying to connect the reservoirs to the MCs!
