Also, I recall seeing someone putting in a piece of angle iron to sub in for the H belts but failed in searching. Anyone have any pics of doing this? Measurements?

TIA,

Paul

If the car came with H belts, there's only on attachment point, and only 1 slot in the waterfall. Yes, you can use that part as a replacement.

I bolted a piece of 3/16" angle to each of the original Y belt anchor points. The angle extends past each anchor point. The picture shows only the driver side. The center bolt is the anchor point. The other two bolts hold the two new shoulder belts. I also extended the slot where they pass through the aluminum. Since I have high back seats and new carpet you can't even tell.

Thank you. Is it one long piece of angle iron or 2 sections?
Did you weld at all or just bolt it in?

Bolted in, one long piece.
