Just got my MK2 back from a major engine rebuild. New cam/crank/rods, etc... Dynoed out at 610HP - runs like a scalded dog! (not the one in the pic.) Sounds nasty too, already set off my first car alarm.... I'm old school - 5.8L windsor (stroked) 750 holly carb, mechanical fuel system, manual steering. First couple of 70 degree days and I'm off to the mountains!

Be careful that strokers tq will spin those tires with every throttle nudge.

There is an informal Raleigh Cobra Guy group with monthly get together’s at various car shows. Please PM me if you want to add your emails to the list.

Don't wait, lots of nice days all year round. Been running mine year round since March 2015. Anything over 45*F or so with full sun is a good day to go out.

When its cold I run a Tonneau cover I got from Whitby's when they painted the car. Has a zipper down the middle so the passenger side stays covered & holds in the heat.
