Ok, to be honest, today was the 2nd start :) My 1st goal was to get it up to operating temperature, my 2nd goal was to drive it around our cul-de-sac. Both accomplished!

Once I got above 160 degrees, the Holley Sniper was easy to configure, only had to do minor adjustments to get the idle down. The electric fan kicked on right at 180 degrees. Also, I didn't know what sound to expect with my undercar exhaust (BBK 15150 shorty headers with Spintech 7000 mufflers), but I think it sounds awesome!
After I figured there were no leaks or issues, I took it for a spin around the cul-de-sac. Clutch and brakes both worked, although the brakes felt a little soft.

I've got a long list of things to double-check, but a very exciting day and big milestone!

Looks and sounds great!! Any concern with those mufflers dragging over a speed bump? Wondering what the clearance is.

Thanks Ted! The mufflers are ~3/4” below the frame. I have a steep curb angle at the end of my driveway and they cleared by over an inch. It’s definitely something I’ll have to pay attention to, and perhaps adjust the ride height to compensate.
Looks and sounds great. Do you have pictures of the exhaust routing through/around the IRS?

great milestone. I put on at least 50mi in go kart stage and probably got plenty of confused stares from my neighbors. Love the undercar muffler as well.

Terry, here are some from a few different angles. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks Rob, nice job! How low do the pipes sit under the control arms? Amy lower than the mufflers?

Terry, at full suspension drop, the pipes barely clear the front of the lower control arm. They are higher than the mufflers.

Amazing sound. This is my first time ever seeing this exhaust setup. What was your inspiration for the setup?

Gray, my inspiration is the original 427 street version. No hoodscoop or rollbar, with undercar exhaust.
