275/35/18's on front

For those of you running 275/35/18's on the front do you have any regrets? Rubbing? If you have pictures of them on the car I would really appreciate it.

Since you have gotten no replies will try to help out even though I have 17" wheels. First there are no true standards across brands. One brands 275's might not spec out the same as another brand with the exact same catalog numbers. At the end of the day you need to physically measure them to be sure.

Tire measured & fitted to my car are NITTO NT-01 275/40ZR17 98W. No fit issues other than moving the position of one front steel braided brake line. Car front road height set to 4.25" rear 4.50" uses FFR wheels

NITTO catalog numbers
275/40ZR17 98W - on car Measurements are Diameter, Width and required wheel width.
25.55" 10.91" 9.0-(9.5)-11.0"

275/35ZR18 95W
25.55" 10.91" 9.0-(9.5)-11.0"

275/40ZR18 99W
26.65" 10.94" 9.0-(9.5)-11.0"

I've got that size front tire on my build, and since I'm still building it, I just checked static interference for now. Full turn will rub the standard F-panel right now. I plan to add rack limiters and the "fat" tire panel from FFMetal to mitigate. I have no idea about body interference yet...also my "alignment" is rough at the moment, per the guidance of the manual and the other experienced builders, so take this for what it's worth ;)

No regrets. I got a very slight amount of rubbing up front on the body but only on track and once I dialed up the camber it went away.

17" wheels 10.5 width front and 12.5 rear, both with spacers. Initially rubbed front road racing, adjusted height to 4"... all is good.

I have 265/18 on the fronts, Yokohama ADVAN A052 and while the body isn't on yet, I feel they're going to rub a bit just from gokarting

as Kevin stated above, just because tires have a nominal size i.e. 275, 265, etc the actual width of the tires can vary between different brands
e.g. a Yokohama ADVAN A052 in my size has a tread width of 9.9", but a Toyo R888R tread is 10.1"
the overall section width is 10.6" (ADVAN) vs 10.7" (R888R)

a 10th of an inch can make a difference - so check your tire section widths

Thanks guys for the replies. I am thinking of splitting the difference between 255-275 and going with 265's after reading the posts. There are some decent tires available with the 265/315 combo. Now I just need my BC Forged wheels to get here.....
