Dash 3/4" support hoop height versus body lip

Hi team, I want to go off the rails and do a way different dash than standard. With the way I'm building this thing I sort of need to put the dash in place before the body. The dash will end up extending out into the cabin from the traditional dash panel and I'm worried about interference with the body.

Anyone have any guidance on the body lip and how far below (?) It extends from the dash support hoop? The area that I'm worried about is in the center of the hoop/dash.

From what I understand, there's some variation in dash hoop fit from frame to frame. The only way to know how your dash hoop fits relative to your body is to do a test fit.

It only covers the hoop by about 1/2"
