Show me your headlight buckets

Ok, long story short, a good friend of mine with an A&C Cobra is retrofitting a set of FFR headlight buckets on to his new replacement body (guardrails and cobras do not mix). He is 90 miles away from me and I cannot get down there to help him, so I told him I would make a post here in hopes that someone would be kind enough to take a picture of their headlight buckets (and how they are mounted) and post it on this thread.


So, what say you guys, are you willing to assist a fellow cobra owner regardless of make?

Only time and this thread will tell.

Sorry, I never took any photo's of that part of my build.
I would think it would be fairly self explanatory, once he has them in hand. He may have to drill some holes in the body for them to sit correctly, but other than that, I can't think of anything too difficult regarding the install of the buckets.

I agree, but Jon is one of those technical people who needs a visual reference just to make sure he is doing it properly.

Oh, BTW, save yourself some frustration and remake the #13416 retaining tabs out of something more substantial now rather than later. The first time you put a little pressure on the headlight to scrub the bugs off they will bend and the bulb will be loose in the ring.
