I’m getting into the wiring in my Coyote install and my harness does not match the instructions and I can’t figure out what harness I have now. It’s close to a Coyote Gen III harness, but it has some extras and is missing some things. From the Ford Performance and Factory Five Manual I was expecting these connections coming off the long run: C128, C102A, C132 and C400. I have a long run that ends with C132, C1743, C128, C129, and C102A. So step one in working with the harness, and I'm supposed to cut out the C400 ICP connection and I'm flummoxed. There’s a couple of other minor differences as well. I've scoured the Ford Performance site and can't figure out what this is and why it's different. Any thoughts? I emailed Mike Forte, who I got it from, and will call Ford too.

Is it by chance an automatic harness?

That was one of the ones I was able to check, the automatic still has the ICP connection. I wonder if it's like for an aluminator or some other high performance version. The other lines are labeled CACCT, IAT and CPC. Charge Air Cooler Coolant Temperature, Intake Air Temperature, and I can't figure out CPC.

I have an Aluminator A52XS. If I'm not mistaken, the wiring harness is a standard Gen2 Coyote harness.

I called Ford performance on this. Its a new harness that is designed to work for the gen 3 and the new gen 4 engine. Nothing really different needs to be done to use it.

I'm going to start wiring soon, interested if you run into any hiccups.

That was another theory, but I'd have figured there would be new instructions on the ford performance site. I'll give them a call and see if they have anything. Thanks.

Update after Ford Performance call, just like Mike Everson said, new harness that's for both the Predator and Coyote, so it's got extra stuff for the additional forced induction. I griped about them not updating the instructions and the guy said he already did to his bosses. All the stuff we need is there, it's just more to cut back and tie off now. So more spaghetti. I think I'll wait until I've got it started before I start cutting stuff up just in case.

Call Ford Performance and talk with a representative. They are typically very helpful.
I have some files I received from them on the Gen2 Coyote. One file defines all the connectors in 2015 which should be an early Gen 2. The PDF files are too big to attach to this response. If you would like me to send you what I have, PM me with your email address and I can forward them to you.

Always wait till you have it running before you start dieting the harness. The only safe way to do it.

FYI if you need an extension for the driver side O2 PM me I'll cut you a deal I have an extra one :)
I'd recommend adding this extension over modifying the control pack harness

Lethal Performance 109677-24 2018+ Mustang GT and 2020 GT500 O2 Extension Harness 24" 5 Pin (1 Piece)

+1 for what Toadster said. I added extensions to the O2 sensors.
