Seems I only got 1 turn signal LED light with my kit instead of both left and right-Normal?
I was thinking of not installing any of the little lights and use the Speedo high beam and turn signal lights, for those that have used them, are they visible enough or would you you on second consideration do the little led lights?
For the Red light, on a SBF (Non-coyote) I guess just a low voltage indicator and how was that set up, I can't seem to find the manual that described a drop resistor, thought that was there somewhere and I see little modules for sale that would do that function. Any other uses for the red light?

One green turn indicator light is normal; you have the option of setting it up with diodes or adding a second one. I much prefer the turn and high beam indicators in the speedo though. They are visible except in direct intense sunlight, which is also the case with the separate ones (which are actually incandescent, not LED). RE: the charge indicator light---Depends on which alternator you're using. The lamp or resistors are required to excite the charge field on some, not on others. Many use the red lamp as a MIL (check engine light).

What is the general sense (if there even is one) for where on the dash hi-beam, 4-way flashers, and turn signal auxiliary indicator lights be placed? Over the individual switch or clustered together elsewhere? Yes, there exists turn/4-way and hi-beam LEDs in the speedo but to my weary eyes, they are pretty hard to see in bright daylight. Is there a traditional place on a Roadster dash for such lights?

Usually centered over the steering wheel.

On pretty much every car I've owned, I found the high beam indicator to be distractingly bright. So on my Roadster, I "hid" the light behind the steering wheel. I can still see the blue aura around the wheel when I've got the high beams on, but it's not shining in my eyes.
When you drill the holes for the indicator lights, measure EACH ONE for diameter. I found the blue light was slightly larger in diameter than the green lights, so my turn indicators don't fit as tightly in their holes as they should.

I originally wired the indicators in the speedo. They are small, but as Jeff said, visible in all but the brightest sunlight. Before retrofitting the RT turn signal setup, I was using a SDC motorcycle cancelling setup and had drilled two holes in the dash for the momentary switches to activate the SDC module. After retrofitting the RT setup, I removed the momentary switches and put two arrow LED lamps that come on with the signals. Even though they are much larger than the small indicators in the speedo, they get washed out in the sun. Bottom line -- do what you think will work for your, but don't be surprised when the indicators are hard to see.

I actually have this same issue so I an planning on putting a dimmer on that LED so I can turn it down. Interesting to hear somebody else ran into that same issue.

So I'm in the same boat (non-coyote build) and also stuck with the one-LED turn signal indicator. My engine has a carb so ultimately decided to wire the red LED to serve as a oil pressure idiot light for that extra little bit of protection (I thought it was a bit more useful than an alternator light - but that was just a personal decision).
As for my layout I tried to go for a bit of a "spread out" concept instead of the clump above steering wheel for purely aesthetic reasons. A picture is in my build thread (https://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?38979-The-Brew-City-Cobra-427W-IRS-Dead-Pedal-Install&p=509163&viewfull=1#post509163).
For a single turn signal LED, I found the "Hy-Power Diode" on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002UHVHI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&th=1) makes the install much easier.
