How’s this for a temporary workbench?

Like all of you, I value space. So when building a roadster mkiv and my gigantic blueprint engine/tranny crate arrived months too soon, my friend built this. Makes showing the garage extra fun.

Reinforced the posts w 2x4s, 1” plywood across the top etc.

Looks terrible for productivity ;) One minute I'd be assembling the pedal box and 5mins later I'd be sitting on the floor looking at that gorgeous motor. I have no self-control so maybe you'll do better! :)

Aesthetically brilliant at some sacrifice for storage, but more appropriate than a living room coffee table. This concept is marketable.
