Drop trunk and rear bumper bolts

I am almost done with my drop trunk mod. I realized I did not account for the bolt that connects the body to the frame on the DS. Ops.. Can some one explain the mods people are doing to make it easier to put the bolts in without dropping the trunk? I think I will have to drill through the trunk to get that bolt in.

I cut an opening and added a cover panel once assembled.
