How do you know when you've got the proper grill angle? I've got mine set to where the fan and shroud clear everything. Nothing touches. It seems like the right spot to me. How do you know?

There is no specific angle the grill is supposed to be set to. I set mine so it minimized the amount of triming I had to do to the hood.

If I remember correctly the manual said 53 degrees? Check the manual it should be in there. I used an angle finder tool.

Especially if you're not running bodywork, do whatever looks good to you! I even laid back my '32 grill :)

There is nothing in the Rev L manual about what angle the grill should be at. It states to leave the screws loose so you can adjust it when mounting the hood. In the hood section it says to use a straight edge from the grill to cowl and adjust the grill so there is no gap at the cowl.

The original owner/builder had already started trimming the hood and lower panels. With the grill where it's at right now, the hood only needs some finish sanding to fit. The lower panels are way off.

Most of us had cut and rebuild that lower panel to make it fit the contour of the lower part of the grill.
