Hi. I put together the FFR provided hanger and fuel pump and I'm not happy with it. The "S" shaped hose makes it difficult to route the cables. Plus the pump can still move up and down a little bit in the hanger. What am I doing wrong?

Also, I was being careful but stripped this screw/hole. Threadlocker/locktite/epoxy and move on?

Is this metal piece supposed to hang down like that? I'm afraid once I push the filter all the way up it will damage the filter or it will damage over time with vibration. Bend it out of the way?

Thank you!

Replace stripped screw with drilled and tapped 6-32 screw.
Tab can be bent flat or left as is.
Turn clamps out so they can be tightened after lower bracket is installed.
Rotate rubber pad 90 degrees so the flat faces the bracket.
Wires are fine but you can shorten the hose ends a little and push further onto the upper tube.
OK for the pump to float up and down some - it it probably for vibration (noise) isolation.
