tire size question

have mk3. bought 9.0 and 10.5 halibrand rims. R17.

thinking about: front 275/40 back 315/35

any problem with sizes eg rubbing on turns etc

The widest tire we reccomend for the front of the Mk3 is 255/40R17. The 315/35/R17 tires should work on the back if you have a Fox body width rear axle.
