MK 1 passenger side roll bar

How would I get the correct body cut out location for adding a passenger side roll bar to an MK 1 ? I could mirror the driver side measurements assuming it is the same but I thought I would ask to be sure. Maybe there is an easier way.

Are there mounts already on the PS frame? if not, I'd make the body cut outs symmetric and then weld the mounts relative to the body cutouts.

That is what I was thinking. The PS mounts are not in. The car is not painted so I can get the body off to get to the area to weld the mounts.
