Hello Everyone,
I'm looking to start building a AC Cobra here in about a year or so. So I figured it be a good time to start asking some questions. There will be 2 drivers of this car. 1 myself. 6'4", 2 my better half. 5'5". So what I'm wondering... Is there such a thing for adjustable seats, steering wheel, and possibly peddles?
Regards,
Quinn

Adjustable seat sliders are available for $69.00 from FFR.
The great thing about these cars is that you can customize them. I am sure you could do a little fabrication and get the other adjustments

Thanks Guys for the reply. I was hoping someone may have already installed telescopic steering wheel, and adjustable peddles.

Haven't seen either in 3+ years at shows, on forums, etc. on a Factory Five. Anything's possible, I guess, given enough time, money, effort, etc. But I would suggest that adjustable seats are the best you're going to do. Many have done this to give the flexibility you're looking for.
Editorial comment: While it's certainly possible to improve on the creature comforts, in the end this is a replica of a 1965 vintage car, which as originally designed had no creature comforts. It's never going to be refined like you're modern daily driver. Speaking for myself, I wouldn't want it to be. It's part of the charm and fun.

While I totally agree with your Editorial comments. Just looking to have 2 totally different people (with out having to get a wrench out to adjust something) to be able to drive the car. And yes what I am going for is that 1965 vintage car.

I watch the Top Gear show that's over in the UK. And I really do seem to get my dander when they talk about the American muscle cars. How they were only built to go either in a straight line Or around a track that you only make left turns! Well to that I say Damn straight! Where do you think the term 0 to 60 came from? America! the saying is NOT 0 to 102 kph thats for sure. :D
ok sorry...

In short yes I am looking forward going really fast in a straight line in a replica 1965 AC Cobra. :D

P.S. I really do enjoy the Top Gear show.
