I know this isn’t a car question but my lift has been a big part of my build and is now blowing fuses. It’s a Titan 6601946711946720 lb lift. Hoping there might be some part of the motor/switch/hydraulic system that has a history of failing and needing replacement. Thanks everyone.

Further information is needed. I assume you’ve checked hydraulic fluid levels and the lift is not overloaded. I would try to determine if the cause is mechanical or electrical. A few questions might help isolate the problem (blowing fuses):
Mechanical
1a) does the fuse blow only when the lift is loaded with weight?
1b) when you say fuse, is it really a fuse or the thermal reset that trips during use (over use)and you just push it back in?
2) are you sure the lift mechanism isn’t binding?
If it’s a fuse and the lift will fail regardless of load and isn’t binding I would suspect electrical? If it’s a thermal reset button then
I would suspect mechanical.
Electrical
3) is the electric motor turning then stops when the fuse blows? Or
4) when you switch the electric motor on, does it fail to spin and only hum until the fuse blows?
If the answer to question 3 is No and 4 is Yes, I would suspect the start capacitor. My questions are leading because it’s a common fail mode.
I believe the capacitor is the blue canister with a clear plastic sleeve on the right side of the motor in your picture 2.
That capacitor is to provide the surge in power required to turn the motor from a stop.
They commonly fail on home AC compressors, pool motors and shop equipment. The capacitor on my drill press
motor failed after 25 years. Usually you can find a replacement At a local electrical supply or online.
It could be other things but I should let you answer the questions so far.

BUDFIVE, thanks so much for items to check. I just sat down after regasketing (don’t think that’s a word) my intake on a new build project. Saw some antifreeze coming out the top back on the Chinese wall of my 347 stroker. Has to be coming from my intake gasket. So when I get my lazy *** up again I’m going to check out your punch list. Honestly I just thought it electrical but I moved some things around on the lift so wouldn’t sweat it not be mechanical. That’s my hope.

When you say it's blowing fuses, is it a circuit breaker in the lift, or a circuit breaker in your house. I suspect you're talking about the circuit breaker on the lift. If you determine it's electrical, the blue and black thin box with wires is probably a circuit breaker. Get a part number for it and lookup a replacement. Sometimes they fail and don't meet the "as new" specifications. If your house circuit is blowing, I also noticed that the motor rating is 30 amps, are you sure you're house circuit can supply 30 amps?

Thanks guys. It was just mechanical. I moved the extenders around and it started working again. I never would have thunk it. Thought it had to electrical. I thought if it was mechanically bound up it would have just groaned. Thanks again.
